Escorts dealing with difficult clients
I had a booking yesterday with a difficult client. He sounded well mannered over the phone. I did my checks, and everything was okay.
We sat down, had a drink, and he swiftly took off his clothes. I asked for payment upfront, and he claimed he did not know what my rates were.
I told him what they were, and he said he intended to stay for just under half an hour, and wanted to pay less. I told him that was not possible. I had felt uncomfortable from the start, but thought that things might change.
Well, this man had made an assumption that I was a submissive. I was not comfortable with his requests and told him so.
I have my limits. He made every attempt to ignore my policies and procedures.
I asked him to leave, as I was not comfortable, and gave him some of his money back.
I came away feeling that my preference is to see clients that I have seen before.

Top dog escort agency owner earns 2 Million
Steven Drew of Silk and Lace escort agency earned two million in a year from his escorts.
Silk and Lace is a visiting escort agency. The escorts were taken to bookings by drivers, and had to hang around at the office for the whole shift(twelve hours), until they were given a booking.
Steven Drew bragged about sampling the goods. This does not suprise me, there are a number of male escort agency owners in London who do the same.
I know someone who worked for this agency years ago, but she never mentioned that she had to sleep with the boss.
It is outrageous that out of a £120 fee, he took £70 and the escort was left with £50.
I wait to hear what happens at the end of his trial.

Visit your local massage parlour in London
Emma Thompson is urging the public to visit their local massage parlours, to find out the truth about the sex industry. Her aim is to fight the sex trafficking gangs.
I wonder how the traffickers will deal with this, if the public take Emma up on this.
Enjoy your weekend.

Friendship
I have a few friends, but value the friends I have. There are points in my life, when I am under pressure, and withdraw from my friends. Some of my friends know me well, and give me the space. Some friends think that they have upset me, when I am not in touch. I make it clear that I need the space, as that is how I cope when I am under pressure. Some friends are unable to hear this, yet I feel that I hear them, when they are in similar situations.
I see myself as someone with a high tolerance level. Sometimes my friends do things that suprise me, and upset me, but I am forgiving. I recognise that I am not perfect.
I find it difficult when a friend is unable to talk to me directly, but has to discuss me with someone else, to make their point. It is not the end of the world, or the end of the friendship, but it hurts. Maybe my expectations are too high. I have some friends who have been with me for the long haul, and it will take a lot for those friendships to end. We all have our faults.
I have been under lots of pressure at work(day job) lately, and have lots going on in my personal life, so have not been able to give time to anything else.

Providing a handjob is not prostitution
Justice Howard Chisvin does not think providing a handjob is prostitution. A happy day for massage parlours in Ontario.
Thank you to David for this tip.
The logic is similar to the virgin prostitutes story *coughs*

Sacked for viewing porn
Four hospital workers have been sacked for viewing porn at work.
What were they thinking?
I cannot access music sites, at my day job.Our IT department blocks some sites, that are not porn related.
What suprises me is that the hospital's network enabled them to view these sites.

Men who buy sex in the UK could face prosecution
Ministers are considering proposals to prosecute men for buying sex. The discussion is considering criminalising the purchase rather than the sale of sex.
Denis MacShane MP, a former minister and campaigner against sex trafficking, added: "Until you have the Wilberforce moment when you say those who buy [sex] are just as guilty as those who are selling [women], it will continue to grow. It's not until there is a regular flow of men before the courts because they have paid for sex with illegally trafficked sex slaves that we will see a change in culture."
This is following in the footsteps of the 1999 Swedish Law on Prostitution.
The Norweigans wanted to make similar changes.
These are changing times.
Have a good week.

Riot police on trial for gang raping prostitutes
Seven French riot police went on trial on Friday for gang raping local prostitutes over a two year period.
The rapes were reported in 2003.
They targeted women who had immigration problems, and promised to turn a blind eye to their situations, in exchange for favours.
In an anonymous interview Friday with Europe 1 radio, one of the accused said he and his colleagues saw their dealings with the prostitutes as a "joke", and that their behaviour was tolerated in police ranks.
I wonder what the outcome will be.

Rehabilitation for trafficking victims
The Maagan shelter in Tel Aviv, offers support to women who are victims of human trafficking.
Earlier this year, the Israeli government changed its position, and agreed to offer a one year visa and rehabilitation to all women who could prove they were trafficked.
I know that in the UK, some of the women who are trafficked, are deported when they go to the police.
More on that, in this article on how to tackle human trafficking.
What I find disturbing in the article, is that some of the women who are returned, are raped in police stations, in their countries.
The only UK equivalent that I know of is the Poppy Project .

Joining the Entertainment Corporation
Anonymous left a comment on the Intimidated Brazilian prostitutes post.
On the other hand, do you know how often this type of situtation rises amongs Escorts? and how do they deal with police? i have been reading quite a lot blogs tring to find out Escort/police 'relationship' but mainly what i found is in USA, where police pretend to be 'customers' so to arrest. would you give me a glimpse at this side of the job, as i am in a situation that financially i have to join in the 'Entertainment Coorporation'. I would certainly appreciate your feedback.
I am afraid I do not have that much feedback to give.
I have only needed to contact the police once while I have been escorting. I had a stalker client, and they were helpful, in stopping the whole situtation.
I have an escort friend who went on a booking, and her client wanted the money back. He would not let her leave his house. She called the police, and she was paid and left.
Those are the only examples I have. As you point out, it is different in the USA, as it is illegal.
Hopefully, some of my readers may be able to give you some other examples.

Another strike
I had no idea that there was another tube strike starting in London this evening.
Fortunately, a friend mentioned it, in the course of the day at work. It messed up my day, as I had meetings this evening (day job). I had to cancel everything, and make sure I could get home in time.
Apparently the strike is on until Friday morning, and I have had to cancel more work. Yet another inconvenience, can someone please give these guys what they want.

Westminster council sends text messages about Clip joints
Westminster council is sending text messages, warning of the dangers of clip joints.
The message reads 5 pounds to get in, and 500 to get out!
Sadly, there are some dupes in London who use them.

Fake escort or client blogs
I have heard about fake blogs since I started blogging. I know splogs are out there, but they are something else entirely.
I know of one escort blog that is not written by an escort. I have met the escort, who claims she writes the blog, and her English language skills are poor.
I know there is no way she writes her blog. So she probably tells her webmaster what to write, who knows.
There is fakeness, in the blogosphere, no doubt about that. Some examples here
and here.
Some escort bloggers have been accused of being fake, and that the writers are men,who are journalists, or erotic writers.
What gives you the idea that an escort blog or punter, john, client blog is fake?
Hope you are enjoying the weekend.
