Sacked for viewing porn

Four hospital workers have been sacked for viewing porn at work.

What were they thinking?

I cannot access music sites, at my day job.Our IT department blocks some sites, that are not porn related.

What suprises me is that the hospital's network enabled them to view these sites.

Does your employer block online radio like the BBC?

Mine blocks everything except the employer's Web site, though I think some employees may have access to other sites for business related activity. In the past employees I have known were fired for accessing lesbian pornographic sites, although he claimed, no doubt truthfully, that a window popped up on his computer and in trying to X it out he inadvertently opened it and was exposed to the lesbian porn, which he, as any right thinking government employee would, found deeply offensive.

Of course he should have reported the incident immediately so that he could get trauma counseling. I think it was his failure to complete an incident report that did for him.

Entre Amigos,

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, I cannot listen to online radio at work. What is strange is that I can get onto Youtube.

ROFLMAO@ reporting the incident, for trauma counselling.

I am surprised at the number of people who email me from work or access my blogs from work.

It must be nice to have the kind of job where you have time to do this.

I would have thought it would have been risky for people accessing my sometimes quite explicit blog from work.

B xx

Beau,

Thank you for your comments. I have a group of readers who access my blog from work too. I would have thought my content was considered adult, too.
