Reflecting on the Highs and Lows of 2008
Another year has flown by.
The Highs
1. Watching President elect Barak Obama's acceptance speech, this is something I will never, ever, forget
I am still on a high, and will be for a long long time. Getting ready to party on January 20th.
2. Getting my new job, which I am enjoying at the moment.
The lows
1. Reading about Deborah Palfrey hanging herself.
2. The loss of my friend P, he would have been proud of the send off we gave him, where over 300 people showed up for a celebration of his life. We partied, and drank to him. May your soul rest in peace P.
3. The stresses at work this year have been challenging.
4. Sad stories that I have read in the news this year that have alarmed me like
the Baby P story.
5. Or what this man did to his daughter, over 24 years unbelievable.
6. Israel continuing to bombard the Gaza strip.
Wishing you all good things for 2009. Thank you for reading.
